Inside Our Facilities

A closer look at the housing, nutrition, health, and breeding practices that keep our farm running smoothly.

A Farm Built for Modern Rabbit Breeding

Located in Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, our facilities are designed around the practical needs of large-scale, healthy rabbit breeding.

Rabbit housing structures

Purpose-Built Housing

Our rabbits are housed in purpose-built, predator-proof facilities designed to provide a clean, secure, and comfortable environment. Housing is organized by breeding group, age, and production stage, enabling efficient management and reducing stress among the animals.

Professionally managed ventilation and temperature control systems help maintain optimal environmental conditions throughout the year. Housing areas are cleaned and sanitized on a strict schedule to support rabbit welfare and minimize disease risks.

Balanced feeding program

Balanced Feeding Programs

Our rabbits receive a carefully balanced diet tailored to each stage of growth and breeding. High-quality lucerne grass, containing approximately 18–22% crude protein, provides a rich source of protein, fibre, vitamins, and essential nutrients that support healthy development.

This is complemented by premium pelleted rabbit feed formulated with energy-rich grains such as maize, wheat, and barley bran, together with plant proteins including soybean meal and cottonseed cake. The feed is fortified with molasses, salt, and essential vitamin and mineral supplements, while clean, fresh water is available at all times.

Health monitoring practices

Proactive Health Management

Dedicated in-house staff carry out daily health checks, monitor rabbit behaviour, and oversee routine care to identify and address potential concerns at an early stage. This proactive approach helps maintain a healthy and productive breeding population.

Strict hygiene protocols are followed throughout the farm, including the regular cleaning and sanitation of housing, feeding equipment, and surrounding areas. These preventative measures help minimize disease risks while supporting high standards of animal welfare.

Breeding management program

Scientific Breeding Practices

Our breeding program follows structured breeding cycles and detailed recordkeeping to monitor genetics, breeding performance, litter sizes, and overall herd health. This data-driven approach supports responsible breeding while maintaining the quality and productivity of our rabbit population.

By combining sound livestock management principles with practical farming experience, we continuously refine our breeding practices to promote long-term sustainability, consistent performance, and excellent animal welfare.
